LSAT Tutor

Do you need one on one help studying for the LSAT, but don't want to pay thousands of dollars for a tutoring package?

I am an LSAT tutor and teacher with over a decade of experience (many years working 30-60 hours a week) helping students to succeed on this test. I have a 99th percentile plus score myself, and have spent years immersed in the LSAT full time. I have a J.D. from UNC School of Law, so I've been through the process and understand the stress, and the importance of doing well. While I have taught and tutored for other tests, the LSAT has been my primary focus - unlike some tutors who offer preparation for a variety of tests and are a test prep "jack of all trades", I'm really an LSAT master.

My approach is that the LSAT is based on a set of skills, and if you can master these composite skills, you can master the test. There is nothing unusual, unexpected, or too hard if you understand what you will be asked. You don't have to know anything substantive to succeed (but you do have to put the work in).

My rates are much lower than what you'll pay with a major company. If you are already enrolled in a prep course, tutoring is a great supplement to that course. If you are not planning to take a prep course, I'll recommend resources for you to use for self-study so that you can maximize your tutoring time.

The first meeting is free, so that we can assess your tutoring needs and make sure we are a good fit for each other. I push my students hard, and I expect them to put the work in. Law school is three years of your life, and tens of thousands of dollars; you owe it to yourself to make the best LSAT score possible to maximize your options for admission. Your LSAT score can be the difference between going to the school of your dreams and going to your fallback, or between being able to graduate with almost no debt because of scholarships and graduating with crippling student loans.

I have all of the experience (quite honestly, more - at many companies you'll be getting a college student with a few months of LSAT experience who works a handful of hours a week rather than the LSAT professional you feel like you're paying for) of a tutor at one of the big test prep companies, at less than half the price. I can also meet via Skype or Google Hangouts, if you prefer, so that you can do your tutoring from the comfort of your own home. Email me at to take your first step toward mastering the!
